A native Californian, Terri grew up in the South Bay Area and attended The Academy of Art College in San Francisco. She has been working with pastels since 1987 both in her studio and en plein air. Her emphasis is on the landscape, often including architectural elements...bridges, barns, fences, spires. She travels frequently to paint and teach throughout the US and abroad. Her paintings are primarily representational/impressionism. Some more loosely rendered than others. She has been a frequent award winner at the Carmel Art Festival Plein Air Event. Her works have been published widely in Pastel Journal, Plein Air Magazine, Fine Art Connoisseur, American Art Collector, Pratique des Artes and others.

Native to the San Francisco Bay Area and a graduate of the Academy of Art University, San Francisco CA, Kim Lordier combines keen observation and sensitivity to her award winning landscapes. In 2002 she was introduced to the art of the Early California Impressionists at the Oakland Museum, and was exposed to plein air painting as a creative means. Currently Lordier’s paintings are in private collections throughout the country, and have been exhibited at the Autry Museum, Coors Western Art Show in Denver, National Arts Club NY, Haggin Museum, Forbes Galleries, Pasadena Museum of California Art, Irvine Museum and the Laguna Art Museum.
Her work has been showcased on the cover of Southwest Art, and The Pastel Journal, as well as featured in Art of the West, Plein Air Magazine, Fine Art Connoisseur, American Artist and The Artist Magazine. Lordier's paintings have been published in the award winning Art of the National Parks, international magazine competitions, national pastel society shows and museum exhibitions. Most recently, Lordier received the Fine Art Connoisseur Award of Excellence at the California Art Club’s 103rd Annual Gold Medal Exhibition.
Kim is a Signature Member of the California Art Club, the Pastel Society of America, Laguna Plein Air Painters Association, and a Distinguished Pastelist of the Pastel Society of the West Coast. A coveted workshop instructor, Kim leads workshops across the country. Most recently demonstrating at the First and Second Annual Plein Air  Convention, sponsored by PleinAir Magazine.
