Loose Figures in an Atmosphere
Member Challenge
Margaret Dyer, our May Guest Artist, inspired us by demonstrating a loosely drawn figure with few details in the face. You can see her demo on our website and enjoy more of her works at www.margaretdyer.com.
Your first Art Challenge of our fiscal year is to paint a figure in an atmosphere, keeping the face and figure's details loose. Keep your background loose too, while letting your own style prevail.
- Deadline: September I, 2026
- No Entry Fee Required
- Three Award Winners will receive Dakota Art gift certificates
- Awards Announced at our September 13th Zoom Meeting
Email your figurative painting (one only) to norithorne@gmail.com with the title, "Figures Challenge."
You must label your file as follows: Lastname_Firstname_Title
